Anemos F.C was one the first football powers in Kopa

run by the recently passed away Louis Kyprianou and

John Ktorides.Anemos were managed by two KLN legends 

first by Jimmy Cattle and then by Peter Stephanou.Anemos

in 1976 were Challenge Cup finalists losing out to Aekon

but the following year Jimmy Cattle led them to the title 

with a star studded team but was denied the Double by 

Nick Kyprianous Omonia.Jimmy Cattle soon left for his

beloved KLN as Peter Stephanou took over but just could

not manage to return Anemos to trophy winning ways.

The Anemos story came to an end in the 80s as they fell

out with Kopa but Anemos will always be remembered

as one of the great clubs.
