KOPA 40YEARS 

   APOEL was formed in 1992 led by Andy Savva,Andreas Aristodelous,Bambos Kyprianou,

George Georgiou and many others,it was a big struggle during the 90s with promotions

and relegations the routine until the board lined up AEL legend Andy Fellahoudi in 2000

as a small time club was transformed to a serious contender to clubs like Salamina 

and Omonia.Apoel slowly attracted the best talent with warhorse legend Nick Shakali

leading the way.The big moment came in 2002 as Apoel against the odds stole the title

in the last game off champions Salamina,many Apoel diehards regard this the greatest day in Apoel history.Apoel were finally respected and carried on winning trophies but

for the mean Aris could've gone on and cemented their place as a great club.Apoel in 2008 to everyones shock were relegated again and struggled on until Ael legend Gursel Gulfer aided by Andy Fellahoudi took over in 2011 going close to the title in 2013 but Cup glory came winning the LFA Challenge Cup.2014 brought a 2nd Kopa title,they struggled again after Gursel Gulfer abrubtly resigned which triggered more relegation,many feel

the Apoel star will not shine again but have made their mark in Kopa as a winning club.
