ERMIS  was one of the entertainers of Kopa in the 80s and 90s

run by the long Kopa servant George Chaklides,many a future Kopa

great played for Ermis which was a stepping stone to bigger things,

as proved with ex Fulham George Georgiou who made his debue in

Kopa with them,the best Ermis period was the mid 80s with Steve Pantelli as manager reaching the 1986 Challenge Cup final,their star players was Kikis Pantelli,Costa Andreou amongst many.The home

of Ermis was New River Astro as they upset the big clubs of Kopa on many occasions.Anorthosis great Mario Koureas also had a stint as Ermis manager but the Ermis story sadly came to an end in the early 90s,it was an enjoyable wild ride while it lasted.
