KOPA 40YEARS 

OLYMPIAKOS for 10 years was one of the best teams in KOPA and the

man behind their success was Andreas Yiasoumi along

with Andy Fellahoudi who beat Kopa giants like KLN,

Anorthosis,Omonia and Salamina to the big trophies.

Olympiakos best period is was the late 70s and

early 80s where they won the Kopa title and 2

Challenge Cups aswell as being the first Kopa 

club to enter the All England Cup,the very best

players in Kopa along with top semi-pro players

donned the Olympiakos shirt but they could never

dominate Kopa due to the might of KLN and Anorthosis even

with Kopa legends like Nick Shakali Greg Zacharia,Stewart Shaw

Gary Roberts,Angelo Polycarpou,Andy Mcgonigle to name which highlights how fierce the Kopa was.The Olympiakos story came

to end in 1988 as the club never recovered after Andy Fellahoudi

left for AEL but they played their part in the golden eras of Kopa.
