KOPA 40YEARS 

PAOK was one the best clubs in Kopa for 10 years,they formed

 in the 70s with Sotiris Kambanellas and attracted Kopa greats to

manage them like Chris Antoniades and Angelo Polycarpou,they

managed to compete and upset the Kopa giants on many a big

occasion.KLN legend Chris Antoniades first put Paok on the map

in what was their greatest moment in their history when they won

the 1987 Challenge Cup beating the great Ael machine fired by Kopa

goal king Nigel Mcneil,also future Kopa greats like Prod Prodromou

and Petro Petrou made their name with Paok.Olympiakos great

Angelo 'Panks' Polycarpou then took charge and won the 1989

Division 1 Cup upsetting the Salamina of Koureas and Varnavas,

sadly that year PAOK folded and re-formed as a village named Komi

Kebir,from that moment never wanted to carry on being a top club

in Kopa which was a shame but PAOK left some great memories behind.
