KOPA 40YEARS
STEVE CINOTTI
Steve Cinotti has been winning trophies in Kopa for the last 20 years but it was all different when he became
manager of average Dherynia in 1993 and struggled for years due to Kopa giants like AEL,Omonia and Salamina
but his destiny changed when AEL folded and teamed up with Kopa great Andy Fellahoudi, the best AEL players signed and the rest is history as Cinotti finally became a winner in Kopa doing the double in 1997,the trophies continued in 1999 as Cinotti had his most dramatic season at Dherynia robbing the title off New Salamis to go
with a Divisional Cup victory,Cinotti also did the Cup double in 2000 but saw Dherynia fold in 2001.Cinotti went
quiet for a bit until he took over little Aris in 2002 and took them to historic success winning every trophy in
sight with 2 LFA Challenge Cups,4 Challenge Cups,2 Divisional Cups along with matching the AEL record of 4
titles in a row.Aris then merged with village club Tripimeni in 2009 and took them to the title in 2010 which is
his last in Kopa along with the 2013 LFA Challenge Cup and 3 Divisional Cups. The emergence of mighty Salamis
as the major force in Kopa in the last 7 years has blown Cinotti away but has stood the test of time with the
distinction of never being sacked, what makes Cinotti great is his longevity and his greed for winning,Cinotti also had success as Mixth manager winning the lnter-league but winning the Championship at 3 clubs to go with dominating Kopa with Aris mark him down as one of the best seen in Kopa.
