NICK KYPRIANOU

Nick Kyprianou was the Brian Clough of Kopa,a true Omonia and Kopa legend,he became

manager of Omonia in the 70s and turned them into Kopa giants winning every trophy available,he won the 1977 Challenge Cup and took the mighty Omonia to the 1978 title

completing the Double,he also was the first Mixth manager in Kopa.Nick after putting Omonia on the map did the unthinkable and left for Salamina turning them into winners

in his first year beating his beloved Omonia winning the 1980 Division 1 Cup,he also won

the first All Cypriot LFA Final beating Anorthosis.he was soon back at Omonia but could

only win the 1985 Challenge Cup which was his last trophy with them,his time was up 

with the greens as he joined forces with Andy Fellahoudi at AEL taking with him the most fantastic players helping AEL to huge success,after 4 great titles in a row with AEL went 

back to Salamina which was his last job.The Nick Kyprianou magic was an inspirational charisma enabling him to sign the cream of Kopa to go with the best semi-pro players

seen,he could spot great players were others couldn't,he could also spot young players

with great potential and turn them into great players,he will go down as one of the best ever and also the most missed characters in Kopa.
